Many of our clients ask us what we think about the wholesale programs like Knock, Open Door, Offerpad and Zillow since they see signs popping up all over Atlanta. We thought we would share some useful info. We are always available to chat with you to help you decide if your home should be sold through a wholesaler or sold for retail price with a Realtor. For some sellers, a wholesale investor might be the best option especially if you need to sell your home immediately. You should still use a Realtor to guide you through the process and make sure you have a real estate professional looking out for your side of the deal. Most of these companies pay Realtors a “finder’s fee” so it would not be an extra cost to the seller to have a Realtor on their side during the process. It is important to note that these wholesale companies are charging just as much or MORE commission as a Realtor would and have many other unexpected fees. Always do your research and utilize Megan & Natalie should you have any questions!
